This book is about the life of chilly chilcot "ian chillcot" and all the tactics he has used to become one of the worlds leading carp anglers. The book starts of a very good read exsplaining how he got into carp fishing and how when he was younger it was very rare to even here a tail of there being a carp in the water. but now days they are stocked in thousands into nearly every lake you come accross. he also shows his love of carp and all of his catches in detailed writting and many pictures he also writes the tactics he has used to catch them the, and the sort of day he has had when he caught them. he writes about the thrilling fights these carp have given him and sometimes the great dispare of lossing them when they reach a snag or pull the hook. But unfortunatly as the book goes on into the middle chapters it sort of becomes a catolouge of his new tackle range "fox tackle" he goes through all the examples of what you need when you carp fishing and often adds a picture of his tackle along with the price and the website to buy it off. as it reaches the end it starts to get much better and very good book as he writes the methods of how to catch carp in high detatail he also shows pictures of all the types of waters you will come accros and how to fish them eg. rivers,lakes,ponds,gravel pits,damns,natural ponds and so on and so on . as it comes to the last chapter it is about all the hard work he had to put in to become a proffesional carp angler and his mate who were sort of rivels where competting to catch the biggest carp in a certain water and the one that did would be given sponsership my "daiwa" who are a massive tackle company, and one winters day his friend pushed himself to hard in the cold and pased away. a truely good book and i recomend it to anybody.
